In Six Coins, the row of six Chinese coins represent the birth of the concept of the monetary exchange followed through to its death through loss of trust. In a biblical allegory of creation/destruction and good vs. evil, the first coin is made with a rounded mirror, representing heaven in Vietnamese while in the second coin, the square represents the earth. In the third, fourth, and fifth coin, heaven and earth fight each other to create form, with the sixth coin becoming so bloated it can no longer support itself. The empty space after the sixth coin represents the concept of emptiness.
